Akaroa King Salmon

Also known as Chinook. This fish was introduced to New Zealand from wild stocks in North Pacific. The fish are raised in sea cages in the clear waters near Christchurch, NZ. Akaroa owns its own hatchery and follows Best Manufacturing Practices for sustainability. The high quality ingredients used in their fish feeds including fish meal and fish oil are from sustainable fisheries. The high omega 3 oils in Akaroa salmon make it an excellent choice for healthy eating. Due to the feed used in the process, the flavor is highly desirable to salmon consumers.

Longline caught fish have less stress during capture and are graded higher with fewer chemical changes. Each fish is graded before shipping.
